About the Honorary Consul
Official representation of the Hungarian government across five New England states.
Sylvia Rich is the Honorary Consul of Hungary for New England — appointed by the Embassy of Hungary in Washington DC and authorized under the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. She serves five states from her office in Derry, NH: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. The position is voluntary; compensation is received only for active consular duties.
